Kirkus' Review
Blithe, breezy, sometimes ribald rhymes which have been pretty popular with the service boys -- American and Australian -- by one of the latter. Doughboys and diggers, women -- all kinds, love and virtue, frailties and mishaps, war problems, all treated lightly. Pretty obvious, for American tastes sharpened by Parker and McGinley and Nash, but good for a certain hearty-humored masculine audience.
